Description

The Joint Strike Fighter Program Office intends to issue a sole source order against Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-02-G-3053 to Pratt and Whitney, Military Engines, 400 Main Street, East Hartford, CT 06108-0969. This order will require P&W to conduct trade studies focused on air vehicle auxiliary inlet optimization and propulsion system short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL) thrust performance optimization. The contractor will perform program planning, synergistic activities with the Air System and Propulsion System Contractors, and program management for all authorized trade studies.
