Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution from Woods Hole, MA, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is in accordance with a Statement of Work that describes a joint Oceanographic Survey deployment to test and evaluate WHOI Ocean Gliders. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery, requirement contract. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
