Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, and incidental supplies necessary for the Hardin Ridge Recreation Area Lake Shore Cabins and a Double Vault Toilet on the Brownstown Ranger District of the Hoosier National Forest in Monroe County, Indiana. The project includes, but is not limited to: a) five cabins (two Base Bid and three Alternate Bid Items) - construction of wood framed cabins of approximately 400 square feet each, b) Alternate Bid Item: Construction of a split face block double vault toilet, c) Utility connections to new facilities, and d) Miscellaneous site and finishing work. This solicitation will be advertised using the sealed bidding format and a 20% bid bond is required for a firm fixed price, construction contract. This solicitation will be available ONLY electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website: http://www.eps.gov/, on approximately April 26, 2004. This project is estimated at between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation number: AG-56A1-S-04-3091. NAICS: 236220, Size Standard: $28.5M. Projected Start Date: approximately July 6, 2004. Performance Period: 90 days for base bid items, additional 30 days for each alternate base bid item awarded.
