Description

The U. S. Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a nitrogen plasma source for GaN semiconductor crystal growth with the following technical specifications: 1. RF plasma source designed for nitrogen plasma generation 2. Operable with nitrogen flows from 0.1 to 5 sccm 3. Demonstration of low ion content either through measurement or GaN growth results 4. End plate (with aperture holes) replaceable by user 5. Cooling water pressure of 15 psig or less adequate for operation of plasma at full power 6. Adapter provided for mounting so that end of the source extends 9.0" from a 4-5/8" flange face 7. RF Power Supply (at least 600 W) and cables from power supply to plasma source 8. Optical viewport to plasma This procurement is being conducted per FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (NTE $100K) as a combined notice/solicitation. No separate solicitation is available.
