Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE and prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number FA4600-04-T-0057 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. All applicable provisions and clauses are listed below. This electronic announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation FA4600-04-T-0057 is issued as a request for quotation. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210, and the small business size standard is $21,000,000.00. The government intends to issue a Purchase Order for: Item 0001: Sendmail Anti-Virus Filter 2.6, Number of Users: 1,000, Machine/Platform: Solaris, License Type: Test/Staging, License Term: Subscription ? 1 year, 1 License; Item 0002: Sendmail Attachment Filter 2.6, Number of Users: 1,000, Machine/Platform: Solaris, License Type: Testing/Staging, License Term: Perpetual, 1 License; Item 0003: Sendmail Mailstream Managed MTA 3.1, Number of CPU?s: 1, Machine/Platform: Solaris 8 or 9, License Type: Testing/Staging, License Term: Perpetual, 2 License; Item 0004: Sendmail Multi Switch Console 3.1, Number of Server?s: 1, Machine/Platform: Solaris 8 or 9, License Type: Testing/Staging, License Term: Perpetual, 1 Each; All quotations must be received by the 55 Contracting Squadron, 101 Washington Square, Offutt AFB by April 26, 2004 at 12:00 pm CST.
