Description

Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Northern Region Contracting Center at Fort Eustis, VA, intends to make award to the Bass Pro Shop, Hampton VA on a sole-source non-competitive basis for Sospenders Sport Model Inflatable Jackets ?????? Navy Blu e ?????? item # 38-601-065-04 (400 ea). This vendor can meet the short delivery suspense of May 1, 2004. These items are of an urgent and compelling nature. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 3069, Small Business Size Standard 500 employees. Due date for responses is 04/15/04 by 4:00 p.m EDT. Therefore, in accordance with authority 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to make award to Bass Pro Shop within 7 days after publication of this notice. A dete rmination not to open the requirement to competition based on responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the agency.
