Description

This is a notice to all Passport and Visa Expediting Service Providers located within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This is not a RFQ and there will be no resulting contract. The National Science Foundation (NSF) is a Federal government agency located in Ballston area of Arlington, VA. Companies that are located not more than one hour from NSF in Arlington, Virginia are invited to attend a vendor fair. We are seeking the services of passport and visa service companies and wish to hold a "vendor fair" so that our staff can meet with you and find out what services you offer. Basically, we will require services such as obtaining personal and government passports, securing visas, and advice and information about foreign travel and travel restrictions. We wish to have our government passports expedited by professional passport services. NSF will pay for passport and visa expediting services through the use of the government VISA Travel card. If you wish to attend the vendor fair, we will provide sufficient space for you to meet with NSF customers. Those of you who supply services through the Internet may also wish to bring a laptop to demonstrate your website. Please bring handouts, brochures and price lists, as available, for our customers. We will provide Internet connectivity by prior arrangement. The vendor fair will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 from 9:00 am to 11:30 pm in room 375 at the NSF headquarters at 4201 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22230. Please contact Barbara Gulick by email at bgulick@nsf.gov by Friday, May 14th, if you wish to attend. In order to enter the building, you will need to have with you a picture ID, and provide Ms. Gulick with the name(s) of those attending, your company, address, and phone numbers. Set up will begin at 8:30am on Tuesday, May 18, 2004.
