Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Request for Quote (RFQ) is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number HM1571-04-R-0007 is being issued as a Request for Quotes. This solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-21. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 511210. For a company to qualify as a small business, the small business standard is 500 employees. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has a requirement for two (2) MediaRich Image Server (Perpetual Server Software License/Solaris Platform), Annual Maintenance, (24/7 coverage) ? Two (2) years. MediaRich is based on server-side JavaScripting, which will allow the software to be customized and streamlined to meet the customers? present and future requirement. MediaRich does not require users to download and install a plug-in for image viewing and exploitation. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide a complete copy of 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
