Description
SOURCES SOUGHT: The project work site is the U.S. Coast Guard Aids to Navigation (ANT) group Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, FLorida. The project work consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials and transportation to rebuild three Range Rear Light structures located in Tampa Bay, approximate distance between ranges is 11.24 nautical miles. Supply new support structure for each Range Rear Light. Support structure shall be composed of five 18 inch diameter steel piles with a 20 inch diameter pile jackets, and a 12 ft, 10 inch X 12 ft, 10 inch steel platform with fiberglass grating. Locate and drive 18 inch diameter tubular piles, as specified. Approximate water depth ranges from 16 ft to 22 ft, at the location for the three Range Rear Light structures. Install and weld steel platform to steel tubular piles. Install and fasten Coast Guard standard modular tower sections to support structure platform. Modular towers are ranging in heights from 40 ft to 50 ft. Modular tower sections will be Government furnished equipment. Install passing light, night optic and dayboards, this is Government furnished equipment. Remove and dispose of old modular tower and support structure. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 237990, with a size standard of $28.5 million. The contract performance time is 120 days. Bid Bond, Performance and payment bonds are required. The estimated price range for this project is between $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00. This procurement is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. No phone requests shall be accepted. The solicitation in its entirety will be available on line at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov Interested HUBZone small business concerns should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer in writing as early as possible, but shall not be received by the Contracting Officer later than 15 calendar days after posting of this notice. As a minimum, the following information is required: a copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern, a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor, evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contacts and telephone numbers and, provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project, to include both single and aggregate totals. All information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns by close of business 15 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. All amendments and pertinent information will be available at this website.
