Small Business Set-Aside

Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned
 

Description

The proposed contract is 100% set aside for award to a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concern. Offers or quotations from other than Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. This proposed contract action is a construction project at the VA Medical Center Tuscaloosa Alabama, for which the Department of Veterans Affaire (VA) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one small business concern that is owned and controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans under the authority of section 308 of Public Law 108-183. Interested persons who are service-disabled veteran-owned small business may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. However, all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of VA. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement among small business concerns owned and controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans.
