- Description: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number F2MGFM40900100 is being issued as a request for quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22. (iv) Notice: This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 336212 with a size standard not to exceed 500 employees. (v) Contract line items: Item 0100 ? 8 each ? Felling FT14DE trailers or approved equal. Item Description is as follows: 8 each Felling FT14DE trailers or approved equal with an 18 foot deck, 2 and five sixteenth inch ball hitch, 81 inches between fenders, 2 ea 7,000 lb axles. The tires need to be 235/85R16 radial. Wheels are 8 bolt. The spare tire needs to be mounted on the right side fender (behind). (vi) Delivery is to be completed by 4 June 2004. Place of delivery is 91 MOS/MXOPV 300 Minuteman Dr, Minot AFB, ND 58705. Delivery and acceptance is FOB Destination. (vii) The provision of 52.212-1, Instruction to Offers - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. (viii) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this procurement. The evaluation procedure to be used for this procurement is price and price related factors. (ix) Offers must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with offer (see attachments). (x) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (xi) Clause52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition: 52.222-19, 21, 26, 35, 36, 37, - 52.225-1, - 52.232-33, - 52.219-6, 252.232-7003. (xvi) All sources must submit a quote with required Offeror Representations and Certifications by 12:00 pm Central Standard Time on Friday, April 30 2004.
