Description

The 482 Fighter Wing Operational Contracting Office, Homestead Air Reserve Base (ARB), Miami-Dade County, Florida, is issuing a solicitation for the demolishment of jet fuel tanks in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Work consists of demolishing two each 840,000 gallon (20,000 barrel) aboveground jet fuel storage tanks to include tanks, liners, berms, drains and stairways and disposing of these items offsite. Approximately 60 cubic yards of sludge and contaminated soil will be removed and disposed of offsite in accordance with federal, state and local requirements. Invitation For Bid (IFB) Number is FA6648-04-B-0004. The North American Industry Classification System is 238910, the Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1795 and the small business size is $12 million annually. A Firm Fixed Price Contract will be awarded. The projected date for availability of the solicitation package is on or about 20 May 2004. All requests for a solicitation package must be in writing to 482 MSG/CONF, Attn: Thomas Blankenhorn, 29050 Coral Sea Blvd., Homestead ARB, FL 33039-1299 or by telefax to (305) 224-7055. No telephone requests for a solicitation package will be accepted. All requests should include solicitation number, company name, address, phone and fax number, point of contact, DUNS Number, Federal Tax ID Number, and Cage Code. NOTE: PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR?S REGISTRATION (CCR) DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CONTRACT. OFFERORS ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT FAILURE TO REGISTER IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTORS REGISTRATION DATABASE WILL RENDER YOUR FIRM INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD.
