Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F7383040890200 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-14. This is a small business set-aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 517212 and the small business size standard is 1,500 employees. The solicitation can be viewed at http://www.eps.gov/. The solicitation package includes the Request for Quotation (RFQ) Pricing Schedule sheet (Atch 1), and Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items (Atch 2) and evaluation (Atch 3). This combined synopsis/solicitation is BRAND NAME ONLY for the purchase of the following: Qty 1 EA GSM nanoCELL 1900 MHz - (a miniture GSM base station that establishes cell phone service wherever coverage or capacity are needed), Qty 1 EA Antenna Mounting Kit ANTNANOKIT (required for use with external antennas - mounted kit terminates in two (2) SMA jacks) Qty 2 EA Antenna - 13" long. ANTOD13-3N (3db Gain Dipole and Collinear Omni N Female Connector. The provision at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation factor may be viewed at Atch 2. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items, MUST be submitted with the quote (Atch 3) or the provision may be copied from website http://farsite.hill.af.mil/VFFARA.HTM. Quotes WILL NOT be considered without the completed provision. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clauses at subparagraph (b)(10), (b)(11), (b)(12), (b)(13), (b)(14), (b)(15), (b)(25), and ), and 252.225-7036 Buy American Act--Free Trade Agreements--Balance of Payments Program are applicable. (DFAR) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, apply to this acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency.
