Description
The 11th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for a contractor to build a New Lodging. This competitive acquisition is for the construction of new building and work associated with the project entitled Add New Lodging Office, Project Number BXUR 61-2680, Bolling AFB, D.C. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, transportation, supervision and other services necessary to complete all associated work. Work includes but is not limited to building a customer reception and waiting area, reception desk, administrative offices, and associated mechanical, electrical, communiations, and fire protection elements. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement on terms of physical characteristics and estimated range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System code is 233320 with the size standard being $27.5 million. The period of performance period for this requirement is 517 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. This is a competitive best-value solicitation in which competing offerors? past and present performance history and technical is more important than price. This procurement is UNRESTRICTED and OPEN TO ALL CONTRACTORS. This solicitation and specifications will be distributed solely on the World Wide Web at the following address beginning on or after 10 May 2004: http://www.eps.gov. Prospective offerors will be asked to register for this solicitation at the above referenced web site. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the FedBizzOpps web site frequently and obtain any amendments or other information pertinent to this RFP. Also, each prospective offeror interested in submitting a proposal on this RFP must register by e-mail to: theresa.clark@bolling.af.mil in order to be placed on the source list. Include company name, address, telephone/fax numbers point-of-contact and e-mail address. Offerors registering on the source list shall not conclude that they will receive a paper copy of the RFP, as no paper copies will be issued. Closing date of this solicitation will be 9 June 2004. NO PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE MAILED. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. **NOTE: ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION BY THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
