Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Electronic Proving Ground, Special Programs Office, Fort Huachuca, Arizona is soliciting proposals for Technology Transfer Program, Office of National Drug Control Policy for the foll owing training session/requirement located in Baltimore, Maryland: a total of 2010 hotel room nights for 17-24 July 2004 at the prevailing government per diem rate in the following breakdown: 20 rooms for 17 July 2004, 380 rooms for 18-20 July 2004, 350 r ooms for 22 July 2004, and 250 rooms for 22-23 July 2004; meeting rooms in the following configuration: 9 rooms for classroom instruction for 18-20 July 2004, 7 rooms for classroom instruction for 21-23 July 2004, 1 room for office for 17-24 July 2004, 2 rooms that will accommodate a minimum of 25 to 30 pallets for storage of equipment from 16-24 July 2004; security to cover training, storage and equipment rooms; food and beverages for Reception Dinner on evening of 18 July 2004 for 360; breakfast, lunch, dinner and two coffee breaks for 360 for 19-20 July 2004; breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 coffee breaks for 325 for 21 July 2004; breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 coffee breaks for 250 for 22-23 July 2004; audio visual capabilities and other miscellaneous it ems associated with training. Offers are due no later than 1300 hours, Tuesday, 20 April 2004 and shall be submitted electronically at charles.fahs@epg.army.mil. EVALUATION CRITERIA/PROCEDURES: Offers will be evaluated based on best value to the govern ment based on the following criteria in descending order of importance: Meeting the Requirement, Location, Meet JTR Requirements or Better, and Price. FAR provisions 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial items, and 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, applies to the acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror R epresentations and Certifications Commercial Items, and furnish Offeror's Federal Tax Identification Number, Cage Code, Central Contractor Registration Number, DUNS Number and applicable FSC Codes with this offer. FAR Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms an d Conditions Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required Implementing Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. The government reserves the right to select for award, all, some, or none of the pr oposals received in response to this announcement.
