Description
Perry Lake Project Office in Perry, Kansas has a requirement for Vegetative Management. This procurement is a Best Value, Request for Proposal (RFP) for Commercial Item/Services. The set-aside code has been changed from open to small and large busi ness concerns, to set-aside 100% for small business concerns. Responsible offers will be evaluated on the basis of Best Value to the Government. In addition to using pricing as a determining factor, evaluation of the Contractor's related experience and p ast performance will be considered. This solicitation contains One Base Year (FY04) beginning 01 May 2004 through 30 September 2004, plus (4) four one-year options. The Period of Performance for Option Year I (FY05) is from 01 April 2004 through 30 Septem ber 2005; Option Year II (FY06) is from 01 April 2005 through 30 September 06; Option Year III (FY07) is from 01 April 2006 through 30 September 2007; and Option Year IV (FY08) is from 01 April 2007 through 30 September 2008, which may be exercised at the discretion of the government. NAICS Code: 561710, SIC Code: 7342, FSC Code: S208 and Size Standard $6.0 million. All bidders are encouraged to make an on-site inspection prior to submitting a bid. The government intends to issue the solicitation and any amendments through the Kansas City District's website. The response date has been extended. The solicitation package will be available on the Kansas City District website on or about 16 April 2004. Bids are due 21 April 2004 by 4:00 P.M.
