Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, intends to award a contract for the Tillamook North Jetty Revetment. The Revetment will consist of various layers of stone with the outermost layer consisting of armor stones. The Tillamook North Jet ty Revetment will protect the existing North Jetty root and decrease shoreline erosion at the North Jetty. The project scope will also include a tie-in to the existing jetty, cobble stone transition and sand fill. Contractor required to commence work withi n 5 days of receipt of Notice to Proceed and complete the entire work not later than 45 calendar days (time stated for completion includes final cleanup of premises). Estimated cost range is between $450,000 and $900,000. . This procurement is open to both small and large business concerns. All interested responsible firms are invited to request a copy of the subject Invitation for Bids (IFB), in CD Rom format, at no charge, by registering on our website at https://www.nwp.a rmy.mil. The IFB is anticipated to be issued on or about I Jun 2004 with a tentative bid opening date of 1 Jul 2004. In addition, in order to do business with the Department of Defense contractors must enroll on the Central Contracting Register (CCR) ww w.ccr.gov.
