Description

It is the intent of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Huntsville, AL 35807, to award a competitive small business set-aside Cost Plus Fixed-Fee level of effort type of contract to provide operation, maintenance, calibration, repair ser vices, perform technical assessments in the areas of technology evaluation, data analysis, system analysis, design, fabricate and test active and passive electro-optical measurement hardware, and gather data for databases using ladars and other equipment r elating to the operation of the Advanced Measurements Optical Range (AMOR) on Redstone Arsenal, AL. This facility will be the primary location for measurement activities but measurements may be conducted at other geographic locations on a short-term basis as required. The contractor shall be capable of operating, maintaining and repairing all AMOR test equipment and other equipment currently at the facility or which is later provided to the AMOR. The maintenance and repair shall cover all AMOR measuremen t systems and equipment, including ladar and infrared equipment at the AMOR facility or at other locations. The contractor shall design and fabricate targets as required. A current SECRET facility and storage clearance will be required for performance. This action is not open to allied participation at prime contract level. The performance schedule for this award includes a basic effort consisting of two years (FY 05-FY 06) and two options consisting of three years (FY 06-FY 08). The North American Ind ustrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541710 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.
