Description

Medical Services, Weber Basin Job Corps, Ogden, Utah. The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement for hospital services, which includes physicians and clinic services. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Part 14 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue an invitation for bid. The principal feature of work to be performed under this solicitation is to provide non-personal health care service in the form of Hospital Inpatient and Outpatient Service, and to furnish professional Physician Services to enrollees assigned to the students of Weber Basin Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center, Ogden, Utah. The hospital services are to include inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, laboratory and all other diagnostic and rehabilitative care for the students of Weber Basin Job Corps. The Contractor will provide proper and adequate hospital care equal to services provided to the general public and regular patients of the hospital. Such care will include but not be limited to the clinical services of medicine, emergency / trauma, surgery, laboratory, anesthesiology, pharmacology, radiology and all other diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services that are available in order to provide the care for and comfort of the students at Weber Basin Job Corps; the provision of anesthetic materials and agents, dressings, drugs, medicines and all other materials necessary for the diagnosis, medical care and comfort of patients; the administration of blood transfusions; the professional services of Nurse Anesthetists, Nurse Practitioners and / or M.D. Anesthesiologists, Radiologists and / or Registered, graduate and / or trained Practical Nurses and such other professional competence normally furnished and provided to regular patients of the hospital. All hospital and medical services are to be performed by licensed professionals in the State of Utah, and in good standing with their appropriate allied health professional association. The contract is for a base year and 4 one-year options, and may be extended up to six months past the completion date (in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. A site tour is scheduled for all interested parties (the date and time will be provided in the solicitation). The work will be performed under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 621111 and 622210. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be available approximately May 14, 2004 at website: www.fedbizopps.gov. Department of the Interior has directed the use of Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as the single validated source on vendors doing business with the Government.
