- Medical Supplies - Potential Sources Sought Military Hospitals - (Army, Navy, Air Force) TRICARE Regions 9 and 10 Nasogastric Tubes and Catheters - Standardization Point of Contact: Cindy Ingrao, Clinical Consultant, Tri-Service Regional Business Office, TRICARE Regions 9 & 10, San Diego, CA. Telephone: (619) 532-8517. Potential sources sought to participate in the regional standardization of Nasogastric Tubes and Catheters (ie. feeding, salem sump, stomach, Levin, etc.). TRICARE Regions 9 and 10, a military integrated delivery network (IDN), comprised of Army, Navy and Air Force medical treatment centers in California are in the process of standardizing Nasogastric Tubes and Catheters. If your company currently holds or is in the process of obtaining a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center-Philadelphia (DSCP) for Nasogastric Tubes and Catheters, your company is eligible to participate in the standardization process. Please respond by Email: cingrao@reg9.med.navy.mil and provide your company name, address, point of contact, telephone, fax and E-mail address and answers to the questions listed below no later than April 27, 2004. For questions, please call (619) 532-8517. 1. Does your company manufacture a full line of single-use sterile nasogastric tubes for adults and pediatrics? 2. Are your products available through the Prime Vendor, Owens & Minor? 3. What is your DAPA Number? 4. Under what brand(s) does your company manufacture or distribute your product? 5. Under what standards are your products manufactured? 6. What types of nasogastric tubes does your company offer? For each type of tube please answer the following: (a) Type of tube, (b) Number of lumens, (c) Number of suction eyes, (d) Number of connectors (ports) and type, (e) Sizes of permanent markers, & (f) Sizes this tube is available in 7. What types of materials are your products available in? 8. Do you have tubes that are transparent? 9. Are your products latex free? 10. Are your products available in a variety of sizes for pediatrics (including neonates) and adults? 11. Are your products coated? If so, with what material(s)? 12. Are your products radiopaque? How does the clinician know the tube is radiopaque? 13. Do your tubes come with caps to protect the lumen from contamination? 14. Do your tubes come in a package that can be delivered to a sterile field? 15. What types of educational tools or materials do you have for this product line? 16. What kind of staff training does your company provide? 17. Does your company provide customer service 24/7? 1. Is there any history of backorders and/or recalls for this product group?
