Description

This is a Notice of Intent to issue a purchase order to Federal City Caterers, Inc. for catering services at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in support of the National Science Board and the National Science Foundation Annual Awards Dinner. This purchase will be done under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is April 19, 2004. This notice is not a request for offerors. The intent of this Special Notice is for information purposes only. However, should a firm on the approved list of vendors for the National Museum of Women in the Arts, desire to send information, before the closing date, regarding this notice the information will be accepted by the Government. A determination not to further compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
