Description

The National Park Service is issuing a prospectus under which six concession contracts may be awarded for the operation of sport fishing guide service and associated boat storage on American Creek in Katmai National Park. Prospectuses are available upon request. The contracts to be awarded will be for the period January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2014. Currently there are four concessioners providing the services described in this prospectus. Issuance of the prospectus and the award of any contract under this prospectus are categorically excluded from further analysis pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The solicitation, selection and award of the concession contract will be conducted pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51. Proposals are due by no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 30, 2004 to be considered and evaluated. Applications must be received at National Park Service, Katmai National Park & Preserve, (ATTN: Concessions Office), 4230 University Drive, Suite 311, Anchorage, AK 99508.
