NAICS Code: 54162 Geomorphic Assessment of the Long Creek & Brook Streams Notice # PUBLIC NOTICE April 16, 2004 Procurement: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, National Procurement Contract Service Center (MC: 3803R); 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20460 Point of Contact: Sherry F. Lutz, Contracting Officer RFQ: DC-04-00156 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, via the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13, intends to award a sole source Purchase Order to the Field Geology Services, located in Farmington, Maine. EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD) has a requirement for a Geomorphic Assessment of Long Creek and Red Brook Streams located in Cumberland County, Maine. The purpose of this requirement is to obtain contractor assistance to address and assess hydro-geomorphological changes for the Long Creek case study. The Long Creek case study is a 2006 Annual Performance Measure. The period of performance for the Purchase Order will be from the date of issuance through September 30, 2005. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 54162. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) is available. All interested parties may submit a response, which if received, within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Interested vendors shall provide detailed information outlining the capabilities which clearly meets the requirements stated above. Any response(s) failing to provide the aforementioned data, but instead choosing to submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFQ will be disregarded.
