Description

Services of an Architect-Engineer firm are requested to provide services including, but not limited to, preparation of construction bid documents (drawings & specifications), construction estimate, as-built drawings, construction period services, site visits and reproduction of bid documents for Project 636A7-04-101, Mechanical/Electrical Modernization. Work includes, but is not limited to, update Bldg. 4 electrical system, replace hot water tank with instantaneous heater, replace HVAC system basement Bldg. 1, correct HVAC deficiencies for lab, replace steam lines/traps from main to building, correct HVAC deficiencies basement building and correct exhaust system deficiencies for SPD. Completion time 120 calendar days. Estimated construction cost range between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Area of consideration is restricted to firms within the State of Iowa. NAICS code 541310. Award subject to availability of funds. Interested firms submit appropriate data described in numbered notes 24 and 25 no later than May 20, 2004. This is not a request for proposal.
