Description
Architect-Engineer (A/E) Services for indefinite delivery/quantity (Open-End) Architectural, Civil, and MEP design contracts at Barksdale AFB, LA. An indefinite quantity/indefinite-delivery (open-end) design contract, one each for architectural, civil, and mechanical-electrical-plumbing (MEP), will be issued for period of one year with four one-year option periods. The maximum amount per each delivery order is $299,000. The cumulative amount of delivery orders will not exceed $750,000 for each contract for the basic year and $750,000 for each option year. Delivery orders will be issued from time to time as the need arises during the contract period ? a minimum of $5,000 in fee work will be issued per contract. Design services required will include preparation of drawings and specifications to meet all of the most current regulations. Typical projects involve repair, renovation, or minor construction. Specifications and other reports must be provided as hard copy and in electronic format using Microsoft Office products. Drawings, including Geographical Information System (GIS) products, must be provided in AUTOCAD 2000i-compatible format and/or ArcGIS 8.3 or better. Firms should describe their GIS capabilities in their submittals. Designs may need to include provisions for asbestos/lead removal. A-E selection will be limited to firms submitting Standard Forms (SF) 254 and 255, and will be based solely on these forms. Significant evaluation factors in order of relative importance are as follows: (A) Experience, (B) Capability, (C) Workload, (D) Location, and (E) Volume of DOD Work. Firms should respond to this notice no later than 21 May 2004. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. All firms must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. IMPORTANT NOTICE: You will not be eligible to receive an award if you are not in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541330. Participation by minority business enterprises is encouraged. Open to large and small businesses.
