Description
This is to change the Point of Contact for this requirement to Jessica Montes, 805-982-4102. This is a pre-solicitation notice to inform the general public of the Governments intent to issue solicitation Number N47408-03-T-0435, for the following requirement. General Description of the Requirement: The Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center has a requirement for an Abrasive Media Blast Booth, for installation at the Point Mugu, Naval Base, California. Installation services shall include, but are not limited to, general contractor support in which the following will be provided: Documentation and submittals for electrical, structural and mechanical design, installation drawings and instructions, operating and maintenance manuals, start-up, testing and training; and during installation the manufacturer will provide an on-site representative. A layout/drawing of the booth and its associated equipment will be provided within the Statement of Work. In addition, a complete set of the manufacturers' recommended consumables will be required during the first year of service; this specification is to be considered the minimum set of requirements. As another minimum requirement, the manufacturer must have a minimum of five (5) successful years of experience, in fabricating and installing equipment of the same size and type specified. A warranty shall be provided for twelve months beginning after system startup, testing and Navy acceptance. The government intends to issue the solicitation within the next ten (10) days, the solicitation will be published on the following website: http://esoladmin.navfac.navy.mil/ NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR FOR ANY OTHER PRICE INFORMATION, AND A CONTRACT MAY, or MAY NOT RESULT FROM THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE.
