Description

SABER PRESOLICITATION NOTICE DRAFT The subject acquisition is for minor, noncomplex construction projects, maintenance, alteration, or repair for the Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) at Columbus AFB,MS and Auxiliary Field, Shuqualak MS. The contractor will be required to furnish all materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to design, manage, and accomplish the project. The government intends to award to the offeror who gives the government the greatest confidence that their proposal will meet the requirements. The Government anticipates an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 1 year Base Period and 4 one year Option Periods. Magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.The proposed contract will consist of fixed price delivery orders with a total guaranteed minimum over the life of the contract of $200,000.00. The minimum/maximum delivery order limitations are set at $2,500.00 and $1,000,000.00 respectively. Delivery orders will be priced using the RSMeans price book and coefficients. This solicitation is set-aside for Certified 8(a) Region 4 ( AL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, and TN) businesses only, with experience relative to NAICS Code 236220. All other offerors are deemed ineligible to submit offers. Estimated issue date for the solicitation is 19 February 2004. The complete solicitation will be available at http://www.fedbizops.gov. No hard copies will be provided. It is the contractor’s responsibility to monitor the website for any changes or updates.
