- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THIS SOLICITATION IS A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) HC1021-04-R-0082 THE RFQ DOCUMENT AND INCORPORATED PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES ARE THOSE IN EFFECT THROUGH FAC 2001-18(a) & DFARS UPDATE #47.. THIS RFQ IS ISSUED UNDER FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. NAICS CODE 337124, CONSOLE FURNITURE. REQUIREMENT IS CLASSIFIED: UNCLASSIFIED. HOWEVER, WORKERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE ESCORTED THROUGHOUT THE PREMISES. PROVIDE A PRICE FOR THE FOLLOWING CLIN 0001, COMMUNICATIONS COMMAND CENTER CONSOLE FUNITURE INCLUDING DESKS, FILING CABINETS, STORAGE CABINETS AND TWO PRINTER ?ISLANDS? FOR 32 COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK CONTROLLER POSITIONS, ONE SEMI CIRCULAR COMMAND POINT FOR 3 PEOPLE AND ONE CORNER UNIT OT HOUSE 1-2 CONTROLLERS AND 12 FLAT SCREEN MONITORS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF WORK. STATEMENT OF WORK FOR DISA-EUR RNOSC CONSOLE FURNITURE REPLACEMENT Communications command center console furniture including desks, filing cabinets, storage cabinets, and two printer ?islands? for 32 communications network controller positions, one semi circular command point for 3 people, and one corner unit to house 1-2 controllers and 12 flat screen monitors. The first 7 network controller position consoles must be free-standing, 30? tall at the desktop, with a maximum 24? rear riser capable of mounting two 20? and two 17? flat screen monitors. The desktops must be 48? wide by 30? deep. Overall dimensions of these 7 controller positions combined must fit along a 28? wall and extend out no farther than 36? from the wall. One position is expected to be a corner unit. The next 4 network controller position consoles must be free-standing, 30? tall at the desktop, with a maximum 24? rear riser capable of mounting two 20? and two 17? flat screen monitors. The desktops must be 48? wide by 30? deep. Overall dimensions of these 4 controller positions combined must fit in an open area 16.5? long by 30.5? wide and must not exceed 54? in height. The next 3 network controller position consoles must be free-standing, 30? tall at the desktop, with a maximum 24? rear riser capable of mounting two 20? and two 17? flat screen monitors. The desktops must be 48? wide by 30? deep. Overall dimensions of these 4 controller positions combined must fit in an open area 12.5? long by 30.5? wide and must not exceed 54? in height. The next 4 network controller position consoles must be free-standing, 30? tall at the desktop, with a maximum 24? rear riser capable of mounting four 17? flat screen monitors. The desktops must be 48? wide by 30? deep. These positions must be joined and have a 45 degree bend between the two center positions. Overall dimensions of these 4 controller positions combined must fit in an open area 18.5? long by 12.5? wide and of course must not exceed 54? in height. The next 4 network controller position consoles are exactly the same as the previous entry: They must be free-standing, 30? tall at the desktop, with a maximum 24? rear riser capable of mounting four 17? flat screen monitors. The desktops must be 48? wide by 30? deep. This position must have a 45 degree bend between the two center positions. Overall dimensions of these 4 controller positions combined must fit in an open area 18.5? long by 12.5? wide and of course must not exceed 54? in height. The next 5 network controller position consoles must be free-standing, 30? tall at the desktop, with a maximum 24? rear riser capable of mounting four 17? flat screen monitors. The desktops must be 48? wide by 30? deep. Overall dimensions of these 5 controller positions combined must fit along a 21? wall and extend out no farther than 36? from the wall. The next 2 network controller position consoles must be free-standing, 30? tall at the desktop, with a maximum 24? rear riser capable of mounting two 20? and two 17? flat screen monitors. The desktops must be 48? wide by 30? deep. Overall dimensions of these 2 controller positions combined must fit in an open area 8.5? long by 30.5? wide and must not exceed 54? in height. The next 3 network controller position consoles must be free-standing, 30? tall at the desktop, with a maximum 24? rear riser capable of mounting two 20? and two 17? flat screen monitors. The desktops must be 48? wide by 30? deep. One of the controller positions is unique in that is a corner unit comprised of three 48? x 30? x 54? consoles used to hold a total of 12 flat screen monitors (4 per station) on their rear risers. It will accommodate one or two controllers at an given time. In addition the left side of the position requires a 48? wide by 30? tall, by 30? deep printer and accessories table. The last controller console position is comprised of three free-standing 48? x 30? x 54? consoles used to hold a total of 12 flat screen monitors (4 per station) on their rear risers. The two end positions must bend 45 degrees off the center position to create a semi-circle. This position will accommodate two or three System Control Officers at an given time. In addition to the above mentioned console furniture, eight 6? x 3? x 2? roller door closing bookshelf cabinets, and four 3? x 3? x 2? roller door closing bookshelf cabinets are required. Consoles must be in silver and black. Cabinets must match the decorum. Consoles must be produced, shipped, and delivered to a storage area garnered by the vendor NO LATER THAN 21 June 04. Vendor must provide set-up and teardown crew to disassemble and remove old console furniture to a government provided storage area and unpack and set-up the new consoles. Vendor must provide transportation for old and new consoles to/from the DISA-EUR building and all labor for set-up and teardown actions. Vendor is responsible for removing all trash and packing material. Vendor is responsible to ensure the workplace is completely clean when the installation is done. END PROPOSAL MUST INCLUDE COMMERICAL WARRANTY ON ALL MATERIALS AND/OR WORKMANSHIP. TOTAL PRICE MUST INCLUDE ALL DELIVER COST TO DISA-EUR,PATCH BARRACKS, STUTTGART, GERMANY. (PROPOSAL MUST INCLUDE MILESTONE SCHEDULE OF PRODUCTION, SHIPPMENT, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, AND REMOVE/STORAGE OF OLD FURNITURE)FOB DESTINATION. FAR 52.212-1 APPLIES TO THIS ACQUISITION.
