- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to furnish and install untreated timber running planks and treated timber deck planks on two bridges on Kuiu Island. Work includes the removal and disposal of the existing treated and untreated timber running planks and deck planks. The project area is located on Kuiu Island Southeast Alaska on the Petersburg Ranger District. One bridge is located at the Rowan Bay sort yard. One bridge is located at Lost Otis Creek at milepost 3.24 on Road 6404. Access is by air or marine transportation. The estimated price range for this acquisition is $25,000 - $100,000. The performance period is 90 days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about April 20, 2004 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation KTN-04-44. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 21 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) has replaced the plan Holders Lists that was previously available with solicitation packages. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest.
