- Description
- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the availability of potential sources to satisfy the FAA???s requirement for cabling and cabling assemblies to support the FAA???s Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) program. The required cabling is necessary to connect the FAA???s service delivery demarcation point to the FAA end user equipment. The attachment to this notice describes the primary types of cable assemblies required. Custom cables in increments of 5 feet will be ordered and shipped to a delivery point specified on the order. No installation services are required. At this time, no solicitation exists. A solicitation, if issued, will be a Screening Information Request (SIR) resulting in the award of up to two Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA). A technically acceptable offer, low price, will likely be the method of contractor selection. It is anticipated that the contract period of performance will be for up to ten years. The FAA is considering a set-aside procurement to either a Small Business, Small Economically Disadvantaged Business (SEDB), 8(a), Women-owned Business or HubZone firm. The NAICS code will be 423610, limit of 500 employees. Interested parties shall address whether they can fulfill the requirements through a GSA schedule. Any party capable of satisfying this requirement is invited to respond. Interested parties should submit a capability statement that demonstrates the firm???s ability to satisfy the requirements described above. Standard company brochures and literature are not considered an adequate response. Responses to this sources sought notice must contain the following information: a. A one-page capability statement demonstrating your ability to satisfy the requirements specified in Appendix A (attached). Summarize your relevant prior work and include a brief description of the your quality control processes. Include a corporate summary and provide your company???s website URL. b. Identify any current GSA schedule or other Government contract that the FAA can utilize for the intended period of performance. c. Provide a statement identifying if your firm is a small business, a small economically disadvantaged business, 8(a) firm, women-owned business or HUBZone firm. This notice does not commit the Government to award a contract based solely on the response to this notice nor does it intend to pay for any costs incurred in response to this announcement. Written responses must be received not later than April 30th, 2004 at 2:00PM local time. Responses may be mailed, hand carried or emailed to the above address. Attachment - Appendix A???
