Description

The Maritime Administration intends to award a follow on, sole source contract, to Capital Business Solutions, Inc. for the period of one base year and four one year options. The purpose of this follow on contract is to perform the following services (1) assist MARAD with the development interface capability between the agencies financial sub-systems and main accounting systems, (2) assist with the conversion of the accounting systems, (3) implement US Standard General Ledgers and Treasury's reporting systems, (4) advise and prepare financial statements in accordance with the Federal Accounting Standard Advisory Board and General Accepted Accounting Principals, and (5) other accounting functions in accordance with assisting the Agency to meet the President's Management Agenda. All firms who possess knowledge and are capable of performing the described work are encouraged to submit capability statements and price quotations at the designated address by 2:00 pm eastern time on Monday, May 3, 2004. Award will be made to the company that offers the best value to the government. A copy of the Statement of Work can be found at the following web site, http://voa.marad.dot.gov. Questions regarding this requirement should be posted to this web site no later than April 26, 2004.
