- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items, Item Description: 0001) 2 each of Engine parts cleaner : heavy duty agitating parts washer, constructed of 10 gauge type 304 stainless steel with inside dimensions of 66" X 52" X 40" with platform of 62" X 38" for a part 28" tall weighing up to 1000 lbs powered by a 6 inch by 38 inch stroke cylinder allowing part to be completely immersed in liquid on every stroke. Tank insulated with 3 inches fiberglass on four sides and bottom, also a 1 inch insulated hingeatolift lid. Mild steel outer shell finished in polyurethane enamel. Heated with 24KW stainless steel immersion heaters at 220 vol 3 phase controlled with digital readout indicating temperature controller mounted in a NEMA 12, fused disconnet enclosure with 120 volt control voltage mounted on the right side.; suggested manufacture: Cooper model no: 6652A-SS-HD or equal. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ FA5270-04-QS079. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. North American Industrial Classification Standard 332722 , Size Standard, 500 employees, applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination for delivery to Tracy, CA 95376-5000. The following provisions and clause apply to this acquisition: FAR 52-211-6 Brand Name or Equal. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Quotes will be evaluated on price related factors only. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation.
