Description

Fort Lewis is soliciting for a contractor to provide various sizes of non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries. This is a firm fixed-price, requirements type contract. This procurement will consist of a base period with two option periods. This requirement will be 100% Set-Aside for Small Business (SB) concerns. Concern means any business entity organized for profit with a place of business located in the United States, including but not limited to: an individual, partnership, corporation, joi nt venture, association, or cooperative. The size standard for any concern, including its affiliates is 1000 employees. NAICS: 335912, FSC 6135 & 6140. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. All requests for the solicitation mus t be faxed to (253) 967-2772 or emailed to sharon.hastings@lewis.army.mil (email is preferred), providing Dun & Bradstreet number and Cage Code. All faxed requests must include an email address. When issued, the solicitation will be available by download ing from Directorate of Contracting web site at http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc. The estimated issue date for this solicitation, W911S8-04-Q-0008, is 30 April 2004. Firms providing a quote shall ensure they are registered in the Central Contractor Registra tion Database prior to submission of their quote.
