Description

The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command proposes to acquire, on a sole source basis from McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, 5000 East McDowell Road, Mesa, Arizona, AH-64D Center of Gravity (CG) and Maneuvering Limits Expansion Test Program. The scope of this delivery order requires engineering and technical support services to conduct a full qualification evaluation of an expanded aft lateral CG limit for the AH-64D Longbow aircraft. Full qualification will include handling qualities evaluation, flight load and vibration survey, maneuvering limits and a limited performance survey. Testing will be conducted at the MDHC-Mesa flight test facility and at other designated off-site locations. The Government intends to award a FFP delivery order again st BOA DAAH23-01-G-0024 to MDHC the designer, developer and manufacturer of the AH-64D Longbow helicopter under the authority of 10 U.S.C. (c) (1), Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. There is no technical data package and a solicitation will not be issued. The period of performance is 6 months after receipt of order. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which may be considered by the contracti ng officer. See numbered note 22.
