Description

PROJECT TITLE & Location: Bodega Bay Channel Maintenance Dredging, Sonoma County, California. Bodega Bay Harbor Channel, Sonoma County, California. This procurement is Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is Unrestricted. JOB DESCRIPTION: The work consists o f maintenance dredging of Bodega Bay Harbor Channel, includes Coast Guard Station of approximately 143,000 cubic yards of materials to provide a project authorized depth plus 1 foot allowable over-depth, and disposing of the dredged materials in the design ated Government-furnished deep ocean disposal site at SF-DODS/SF-8. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS 237990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $17 Million. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The acquisitio n method is Invitation for Bid IFB. ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS: ORDERING SOLICITATION: The solici tation for this project will be available on the Sacramento District Contracting Divisions Internet Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ for downloading. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be available for down load from this web si te. If you experience problems registering for the plan holders list or have problems downloading plans and specifications or amendments please contact Robert Ennis at 916-557-5238. It is important that you first go to this web site and under Contract Divi sion home page, click on the advertised solicitation you are interested in. Go to Plan Holder Registration. This will require you to establish a user name and pass word. Keep the user name and pass word and share it with anyone else in your organization th at is responsible for registering your firm on plan holders lists. With our new system you only have to do the full registration one time. If you have your user name and password you can always go back into the system and register for other jobs without ha ving to go through the entire registration process. However you can only do this by using your initial user name and password. In order to receive notification on any amendments to the solicitation you are required to register for the plan holder list. Ple ase complete all requested information. The solicitation will be available for download approximately 5 May 2004. To down load the solicitation go to the Sacramento District Contracting Division Internet Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ from the re click on Sacramento District, then it will take you to a list of advertised solicitations and then from there click on the desired solicitation number, on the bottom of this page there will be a bar that says download/view solicitation files. Select pla ns or specs from the drop down box and press the go button. This will take you to the next page, then from there click on file name and download. To download amendments: Access the list of advertised solicitations. Select the desired solicitation and then click on the amendment number. At the next screen, click on the file name and download it. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. Please note that all contractors and potential contractors must be registered wit h the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
