Description

Potential suppliers of Fish Food and Equipment in support of a fish hatchery operation are being sought for small quantity deliveries to the following location. A Contract or a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) may be negotiated depending on suppliers and circumstances. U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Tracy Fish Facility, 16650 Byron, CA 95414 (Contra Costa County, California). The facility has multiple tanks and ponds used for the hatching and develpoment of various fish. Equipment will be required to monitor and control the enviroment of the tanks and pools, and repair the tanks and pools. Such items may include but are not limited to; pipes, pipe fittings, tubing, tube fittings, motorized valves, filters, pumps, fish tanks, pond liners, filter material, heat pumps, chillers, thermometers, sensors, pH paper, pH buffer solutions, aquarium brushes, slides, pipette, anesthetics, sodium thiosulfate, amquil, fish feeders, balance alarm system, calipers, water bath, oxygen meter, pH meter and conductivity meter. Various foods to feed the developing fish may include but are not limited to; artemia eggs, dried rotifers, flaked fish food, algae. (Estimated annual acquisitions ranging from $10,000 to $25,000.)
