Description
The Bureau of the Public Debt will issue a commercial item solicitation to acquire the fixed-price professional services of an experienced contractor to evaluate current business processes, provide education, and recommend implementation of an Enterprise Information Management System (EIMS) that meets the needs of the organization. The place of performance will be in Parkersburg, WV and the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area. The period of performance is less than one year. The contractor shall perform the following three tasks: (1) A presentation to provide senior management with a better understanding of the components, requirements, and benefits of an EIMS. A second presentation is based on the integration of the latest industry standards and the evaluation of Public Debt?s organization and business process identified. (2) Analysis/Evaluation of Public Debt?s organization to establish a plan of action for the implementation of an EIMS including: IT infrastructure, records strategy, current policies and procedures, current automated systems, and a report regarding the finds of the evaluation. (3) Preparation of a Lifecycle diagram to present a graphical explanation of the records life cycle elements as it relates to the components of integrated EIMS. As an optional task, based upon successful completion of Task 3, the contractor shall continue the evaluation process and recommend a ?Best Fit? solution for a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Information Management System compatible with Public Debt?s current Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and business processes.
