Description
This requirement is for the repair/overhaul of Event History Recorders (EHR’s) NSN: 2995-01-128-8000NZ, P/N 4057779/845543 applicable to the F100PW100/200/220/220E engines. The government contemplates awarding a firm fixed price requirements type contract for a one (1) year basic contract period with four one (1) year option periods. The best estimated quantity of EHR’s per year to be repaired is 245 each for year one, 182 each for year two, 129 each for year three, 125 each for year four and 125 each for year five for an overall total estimated quantity of 806 each, which equates to a five year estimated amount of $3,425,500. The governments required delivery schedule 20 each per month to be delivered within 30 days after receipt of order and reparable asset, whichever is later, and continue at that rate per month thereafter until deliveries are completed. Items will be delivered to FB2039, Tinker AFB. The government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SAR’s). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SAR’s as soon as possible. If the government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. The currently approved source(s) are AAR Aircraft Component Services in The Netherlands. No telephone requests will be accepted. The contracting office will accept requests for solicitations via fax number (405) 734-8776. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation will be made available to interested parties through electronic data interchange. This solicitation will be posted via the Federal Business Opportunities website http://epsa.satx.disa.mil. Note(s) 22, 23 and 26 apply.
