Description

AMENDMENT 1: The purpose of this amendment is to add assembly requirement to the solicitation and to add estimated installation time to FAR clause 52.212-4 -Evaluation. The following assembly requirement is hereby added: The lamps will have some assembly, the bed boxes will have some assembly, the furniture will need to be leveled and the pocket doors will need to be re-aligned,the headboards will need to be wall mounted. The sofa's and chairs will sometimes have the legs shipped in a separate box and would need to be screwed in. No drawings or instructions will be provided. Hardware provided for the draperies, not for the furniture. The bed bases will come with instructions. Installers will be responsible for the eventual touch ups needed in case the goods sustain some nicks and scratches either during the installation or in shipping. Touch up kit will be provided by the furniture company. The following evaluation factor is hereby added to FAR Clause 52.212-4 -Evaluation as part of (a) Technical capability to include total performance time. The installation schedule must be submitted along with the bid.
