Description

HUBBARD BROOK, NH - NEW WORKSHOP/STORAGE/MAINTENANCE SHOP The USDA Forest Service intends to award a negotiated RFP to construct a new 2700 sq. ft. shop building at the Hubbbard Brook Experimental Forest research facility. The work is anticipated to involve site prep and grading, utilities, building construction per plans and specs, and restoration of the disturbed roads and landscaping to approx. existing condition. Treatment and handling of imported materials for invasive species control will be a critical part of this project. This project is between $250,000 - $500,000. Solicitation will be posted to FEDBIZOPPS www.eps.gov o/a May 5, 2004. Those contractors NOT downloading solicitation/specs/drawings from website and need a hard copy MUST call Sir Speedy at 610-789-2685 identifying project. There will be a charge and vendors are to work directly with Sir Speedy to work out payment. Bonding will be required. This project is not set-aside for small businesses; however, HUB Zone, 8(a) and Service disabled Veteran owned construction businesses are encouraged to submit a proposal.
