- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) by the Little Rock District Corps of Engineers, PO Box 867, Little Rock, AR 72203-0867. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses ar e those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09 . All applicable wage rates will apply in accordance with Wage Determination 94-2311 Rev (21). The NAICS code for this acquisition is 221320 and the size standard is $5.0 million. This solic itation is being set aside for small business . Quotations are due on May 14, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. Central Time. Bids are to be mailed to the Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, 700 West Capitol Avenue, Room 6412, Little Rock, AR 72201 or faxed to Ju anita Granger @ 501-324-5196. Your offer will be submitted in a lump sum amount. Quotations are being sought to provide and install a no discharge, drip irrigation sand filter system located at Big M Park, Table Rock Project Office, (Barry County) Brans on, Missouri. The purpose of this project is to close off the existing mechanical waste treatment plant and install a smaller more manageable one. The system should be similar to the Consolidated Multiflow System (http://www.multiflo.com/multiflo.asp). The system shall contain a filter and an aeration system for treatment of the wastewater. The system shall not be a ??????zero discharge system??????, meaning it should not take a permit with monthly sampling to operate. It should be easy to maintain by a minimally trained Corps of Engineers Employee. The contractor will be responsible for the design and installation of the new system and all components necessary to make the system work correctly and according to Missouri law.
