- 1. The Coronado National Forest, Tucson, Arizona, is soliciting quotes (RFQ) for the supply, delivery FOB Destination, and installation of a utility/service body for each of six 2004, 4 x 4 pickups. . 2. Quotes are to be submitted to Coronado National Forest, Room 5F, 300 W. Congress, Tucson, AZ 85701 or faxed to Leah Arp-Romero at (520) 670-4532 by close of business April 29, 2004. 3. Note: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in [FAR] Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 4. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 01-22. 5. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336211 and the size standard is 1000 employees. 6. Submit a detailed equipment list/specification with price quote for supply, delivery, and installation of the following utility/service body packages for a total of six truck chassis. ITEM 001, quantity 2, package is for 2004 Ford 4x4 regular cab chassis, 15,000 GVWR, 84 inches cab to axle, dual rear wheels: Service body for 108 in. by 80 in. bed w/min. 48 in. inside bed, 24 in. steel deck for welder or compressor between cab and service body, aluminum tread plate on top and kick plates, long horizontal box on passenger side, short horizontal box on driver side, spring-loaded door holders on vertical doors, flush rotary-style locks keyed alike, rear tread plate bumper, interior compartment lights w/guards, rough service mounting kit, external lights flush mounted, double panel doors w/weather seal, chain on horizontal doors, minimum 2-coat paint matching cab, mud flaps, class V receiver hitch, electric brake control inertia and 6-pin trailer hookup using Ford wire harness adapter. ITEM 002, quantity 4, package is for 2004 Ford or GMC 4x4 regular or crew cab chassis, 9200 GVWR, 56 in. cab to axle, 142 in. wheel base: Service body for 96 in. by 78 in. bed w/min. 48 in. inside bed, electric brake control inertia and 6-pin trailer hookup, all other specifications as per Item 001. 7. Desired Delivery and Installation: May 15, 2004. All applicable taxes, if any, shall be included in the quoted price. 8. Quotes must include a completed copy of [FAR] 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items. [FAR] 52.212-2 Evaluation, Commercial Items is applicable with the following factors used to evaluate quotes: Price and technical conformity to specifications. 10.
