Description

The National Instituteon Durg Abuse intends to award a commercial item sole source purchase to MED Associates, Georgia, VT. This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.00. This acquisition is being processed under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 97-15 NAICS CODE___339111_and the size standard is_100__.Contractor to provide the following: Item #1-Catalog#MED-OFA-RS rat open field activity starter package qty 3 ea. Manufacturer MED ASSOCIATES. .The evaluation of quotes and the determination as to equality of the product shall be the responsibility of the Government and shall be based on information provided by the vendors. The government is not responsible for locating or securing any information which is not identified in the quotation and reasonable to the purchasing activity. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers, the ability to meet the technical requirements, past performance, and price. Technically acceptable offer must show the offeror can meet the requirements of the Government. Items are to be quoted FOB Destination and delivery shall be made to: NIDA/ADDICTION RESEARCH CENTER, 5500 Nathan Shock Drive, Bldg. C room 130, BALTIMORE, MARYLAND 21224. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this Solicitation: 52.212-1 Instructions to offertory-Commercial, 52.212-3 Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, 52.214-4 Contract Terms and Conditions including clauses incorporated by reference under section (b). This procurement is not set-a-side and will follow Simplified Acquisition procedures in FAR part 13. All responses shall be received by the Contracting Officer at the above address by May 7, 2004_ at 4:00PM local time. Faxed responses will be accepted at 410-550-3146.
