Description

The Sierra Pacific Network Consolidate Contracting Activity (CCA) is issuing a Commercial Item request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 12.203 and FAR 13 to provide motor coach transportation for participants, volunteers, spectators, and similar individuals associated with the National Veterans Golden Age Games to be held in Fresno, California July 17 2004 though July 24, 2004. Various side trips and airport pickup requirements are included. A tentative listing of activities is provided. All schedules and numbers of ambulatory and non-ambulatory passengers are tentaive (see below). Typical date & activity are as follows:07/17/04 Fresno Airport Participant Pick-up; 07/17/04 San Jose Airport Participant Pick-up; 07/17/04 Grizzlies Baseball Game; 07/19/04 Monterey Bay Aquarium; 07/19/04 Fort Washington Golf Club; 07/19/04 Weibe Farm and Packing Shed; 07/19/04 Castle Air Museum; 07/19/04 Legion of Valor Museum; 07/19/04 Woodward Park; 07/20/04 Yosemite National Park; 07/20/04 Sierra Lanes Bowling Alley; 07/20/04 Forestiere Underground Gardens; 07/20/04 Fresno Metropolitan Museum; 07/20/04 Quady Winery; 07/21/04 Yosemite National Park; 07/21/04 Sunnyside High School; 07/21/04 Weibe Farm and Packing Shed; 07/21/04 Castle Air Museum; 07/21/04 Legion of Valor Museum; 07/22/04 Buchanan High School; 07/22/04 Forestiere Underground Gardens; 07/22/04 Tulare Farm Tour; 07/22/04 Simpson Meadow Winery; 07/22/04 Kings Canyon National Park; 07/23/04 Buchanan High School; 07/23/04 Chaffee Zoological Gardens; 07/23/04 Legion of Valor Museum; 07/24/04 Fresno Airport Loop; 07/24/04 San Jose Airport Participant Drop. Transportation of school children K-12 exclusively in a school function is not contemplated by this Solicitation. Accommodation of drivers with on site rooms and/or meals is not contemplated by this solicitation. Successful Offeror will be required to provide transportation services for both ambulatory passengers and non-ambulatory passengers. The Solicitation will provide a tentative estimate of the number of ambulatory and non-ambulatory passengers. The successful Offeror will be provided with a final schedule, including flight arrival times, number of ambulatory passengers, number of non-ambulatory passengers and similar data required to finalize scheduling on or about July 1, 2004. The following provisions and clauses apply plus any addenda: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications --Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and 52.212-5 Contract terms and Conditions to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items. Basic NAICS Code is 485 (Transit and Ground Passenger Transportation) including but not limited to: 485210, 485510, and 485999.
