Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-19 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20040113. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3086 and the size standard is 500 employees. NAICS is 326150. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (The award will be less than $100,000) will be followed. This purchase will be for ten (10) RF Absorbing Wall Module Panels with the following salient characteristics: Portable Wall Module 4?H x 8?L with metal backing and AEP-18, 18? Pyramidal Absorber. Performance requirements: @ 25MHz?3 dB, @ 50 MHz?6 dB, @ 100 MHz?11 db, @250 MHz?21 dB, @500 MHz?29 dB, @ 1.0 GHz?35 dB, The absorbers are to be fire retardant and self-extinguishing. They are also to be tested and certified to meet NRI 8093 Tests 1, 2 and 3, MIT MS-8-21 and UL 94. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the ten (10) RF Absorbing Wall Module Panels described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the required training requirement. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis. CONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH FAR 52.204-7 CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (OCT 2003) AND DFARS 252.204-7004, ALTERNATE A (NOV 2003).
