Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written Request for Quote (RFQ) will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation notice constitutes RFQ HM1571-04-Q-0002. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-21. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 511210. For a company to qualify as a small business, the small business standard is 500 employees. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has a requirement to renew Opticom software maintenance for Iview Device, and the need for iView Visual Vantage software and maintenance for 7,000 devices. This requirement is sole source to Opticom, Andover, MA, the software manufacturer. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide a complete copy of 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. FAR 52-212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercials Items apply to this acquisition.
