Description

NA Market Research/Sources Sought for a quantity of 82,850 each CXU-3A/B Signal Cartridges, NSN: 1325-01-112-8170. The CXU-3A/B Signal Cartridge is used in practice bombs to mark the impact location on bombing ranges. It is used in the following practive bo mbs: BDU-48, MK76, MK106, BDU-33, LGTR and Inert MK80 Series bombs when equipped with the MK89 Spotting Charge Adapter. The CXU-3A/B Signal Cartridge is composed of a cylindrical aluminum case that contains a 3-gram smokeless powder expellant charge, a g lass ampoule that contains titanuium tetrachloride and a percussion primer. A 100% small business set-aside is anticipated based upon the results of the market research responses/interest received.
