- Description
- The US Army TACOM Picatinny Center for Contracting and Commerce intends to award, on a sole source basis to Planning Systems Inc, Reston, VA a contract for Acoustic Counter Battery System. PSI is the current developer of ACBS. The contractor shall continue the design, development, integration and test of ACBS. Specific services include: a) Identify the software and hardware deficiencies in the system developed under the original contract, implement and test the fixes. b) Evaluate and incorporate COTS radios and commercial orientation sensors as part of the sensor systems. c) Conduct subsystem and system level lab tests of modified system and new radios. d) Demonstrate real- time, end-to-end performance against live fire. After proof of concept, the contractor shall expand the host platforms to other vehicles and ground based sensors. Point of Contact for this action is Donna Apgar dapgar@pica.army.mil. Note 22.
