Description

SYNOPSIS OF SOLICITATION: The 15th Contracting Squadron (15 CONS), Hickam AFB Hawaii, anticipates issuing a solicitation, on or about 23 Jan 04, to acquire Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Maintenance services at Hickam AFB Hawaii. This service will ask the contractor to provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to provide Land Mobile Radio Maintenance services. The Statement of Work (SOW) will be made available in the Government solicitation. This acquisition will be solicited as unrestricted under Full and Open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 517212 (1,500 employees). Once available, this solicitation must be downloaded from www.eps.gov, as no paper copies will be issued. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. A pre-proposal conference/site visit will be conducted at a date and time to be determined in the solicitation. This site visit is highly encouraged but not mandatory. The government contemplates award on or about 27 Feb 04, with a performance start date of 1 Apr 04. The resultant award will be made on an all-or-none basis to include a basic period and four annual option periods. Prospective offerors will be required to have the following licenses and certifications: Federal Communications Commission (FCC) second class radio-television license or equivalent, certification of Factory Mutual training on Intrinsically Safe (IS) Motorola radios, certification of training on TYPE 3 Motorola Data Encryption Standard (DES) equipment, AES and Motorola COMSEC TYPE 1 (FASCINATOR) equipment.
