Description

AMENDMENT 3: The purpose of this amendment is to post the following Statement Of Work (SOW): Statement of Work for the Installation of Furniture and Drapery in Temporary Lodging Facilities, Aviano Air Base, Italy. Nonpersonal Services; Contractor to provide all labor, materials, parts, supplies, equipment, and transportation necessary to install Government provided furniture and draperies in four (4) new Temporary Lodging Facilities (TLFs). Contractor shall be responsible for all work connected with offloading, unpacking and disposal of all packaging material and debris off base in accordance with local Italian law, assembly, installation, and minor repair, realignment and touch up of minor damage. Contractor will ensure maximum protection to facilities and improved grounds. Any damage to the furniture caused by the contractor will be repaired and/or replaced at the contractor’s expense. Contractor shall submit with its proposal a detailed Facility Protection Plan that will fully describe actions to be taken to ensure protection of the facilities, including but not limited to, doors, door jambs, walls, carpet, tile, elevator, existing appliances, improved grounds, etc. For a complete list of items and room installation plan please contact Marzia Biscontin, 0039-0434-66-7451, e-mail marzia.biscontin@aviano.af.mil. A site visit is scheduled for Thursday, 29 April 2004, at 9:30 AM (0930 hrs.) Offerors are encouraged to attend. Attendees will meet at the 31st Contracting Squadron, Via Monte Colombera #1 Aviano. Offerors planning to attend must contact Ms Biscontin with full names of personnel attending. Closing date for receipt of proposals is 3 May 2004, 4:30 pm (1630 hrs.)W. Europe Daylight Time.
